Shredding systems
Shred-Tech’s new shredding systems, the ST-75, STQ-50 and MDS-35GTi, complement a versatile product line of high-performance shredding systems the company has developed since its founding 30 years ago.

The ST-75 offers greater flexibility for loading bulk waste such as steel drums, auto tires, castings, industrial waste and aluminum, among others. Its electric model has two 30-, 40- or 50-hp motors, and the hydraulic model is equipped with high torque, low speed, multi-cam, radial piston motors.

The Shred-Tech STQ-50 four-shaft shredders are designed to process bulk materials, including wood, plastics, paper, tires, textiles, electronic equipment, medical waste, organic waste and manufactured products to a uniformed particle size in a single pass.

The MDS-35GTi line combines unsurpassed throughput rates of 6,000 – 8,000 lbs. per hour with the option of high-security Variable Shred Size technology, which produces high-security shred sizes at the push of a button.

Wrenches
Wright Tool Co. offers large-sized, heavy-duty, flat stem, 12-point combination wrenches, ranging from 1-5/16 in. to 4 in. and 36 mm to 80 mm.

All Wright large-sized combination wrenches are heavy duty and feature the patented heavy-duty round-stem design that provides the user a comfortable, easy fit in the hand. Because of the design, the wrenches can be used and carried two at a time, side by side. In addition, the wrenches stack one on top of each other for easy storage, and the flat sides keep them from rolling.

Wright Tool combination wrenches with sizes 1-5/16 in. through 2-3/4 in. and 36 mm to 70 mm are available in chrome satin finish, while wrenches with sizes 2-3/16 in. to 4 in. and 75 mm to 80 mm feature black industrial finish.

Portable hoppers and bins
Grasan portable hoppers and bins are available with or without variable-incline belt-feed conveyors and variable-rate vibratory pan feeders. They are designed to handle a variety of bulk materials in mining, construction, demolition, aggregate and concrete recycling applications. Feed hoppers handle materials at rates of 300 to 1000 tph and can be used for everything from loading trucks, barges and railcars to feeding crushers and screen plants. Typically, bins and hoppers are mounted on a wide flange beam chassis with truck axles, air brakes and signal lights for highway towing. Grasan engineers will customize designs to meet individual customer needs.

KPI-JCI
The mobile FT 3055 Fast Trax unit represents the largest jaw plant to-date in the track-mounted crusher line-up. It offers a maximum production rate up to 700 tph, and features an overload protection system (OPS) that optimizes its productivity by regulating the crusher feed to prevent crusher overload and possible plugging. This new unit also addresses higher production needs that are evolving from the recycling applications, and a process change taking place in the aggregate industry to follow the quarry face.

Telsmith Inc.
Telsmith’s new mobile track-mounted primary jaw crushing plant, the Quarry-Trax Model TJ3258, features a hydraulic adjustment to reduce maintenance time and maintain crusher output. In the automatic mode, the crusher feed is maintained and maximized by monitoring engine load, crusher load and feed bin level. An on-board color LCD monitor displays the crusher setting, and adjustments are enabled through pushbutton controls. A handheld wireless remote maneuvers the plant and provides crusher, feeder, engine and conveyor controls from a safe distance. Options include a hydraulic hammer, hopper extensions, a folding conveyor extension and a magnet.

Terex Cedarapids
The new Mobile Aggregate Crushing System (MACS) uses larger crushers and screens than what are typically used in track-mounted or wheeled plants. The crushing and screening units travel less than 13.5-ft. high and less than 12-ft. wide. Interplant conveyors are designed into the units so that separate transfer conveyors are not required. The entire system uses industrial electric drives so that it can be powered by either high-efficiency generators or line power when available. The system’s layout provides operator visibility of the entire circuit from a central pop-up control house.

Eco-Crusher magnet
Demolition and concrete contractors using the Eco-Crusher, a jaw-crusher bucket for crushing material on-site, have the option of adding a magnet to provide an easy and efficient means of removing rebar from crushed debris. The magnet mounts to the body of the crusher bucket and is operated from inside the cab. After the debris runs through the crushing process, the operator uses the magnet to pick and move rebar and other steel from the pile, eliminating handwork and increasing safety on the job. The installation kit consists of a support structure, mounting bolts and a wiring diagram. Power for the magnet is generated from the 24-volt battery/electrical system already existing on the excavator.

Portable crusher
The new Terex Pegson XV350 vertical-shaft impact crusher features the Terex Canica 2050 GD VSI crusher on the Terex Pegson I-Beam chassis with heavy-duty crawler undercarriage. The plant produces an excellent product shape, according to the company, and is ideal for the manufacture of sand. Capacity is up to 350 tons per hour. The unit is powered by a 438-hp Caterpillar C13 engine with a self-adjusting HFO clutch and highly fuel efficient direct-drive system. The crusher has an Automatic Lubrication System (ALS) with temperature and flow analysis.
